Print from within other Mobile Applications
Simply follow steps:

  1. After creating and saving your document Tap-and-hold on the document in the mobile applications document list, and choose "ActivePrint Tools". - see image
  2. Choose either: - see image

Print Through Microsoft ActiveSync/Windows Mobile Device Center
After adding your files to the ActivePrint Print Queue on your Mobile Device simply connect your Mobile Device to your Windows XP or Windows Vista desktop or laptop computer running Microsoft ActiveSync/Windows Mobile Device Center.

Once your Mobile Device is connected ActivePrint will within seconds begin printing your queued documents.

Vista Users: Not all Vista Computers come with Windows Mobile Device Center, however it can be downloaded from Microsoft's website here.


Print Using a TCP/IP Connection Without Microsoft ActiveSync/WMDC
This method allows you to send either an individual file or your entire ActivePrint Print Queue over a wireless network without having to establish a Microsoft ActiveSync or WMDC connection.

  1. On your Mobile Device, open the ActivePrint Mobile Client in the device's Programs.
  2. Choose the "Send Print Jobs" menu.
  3. Choose "Over a LAN or Wireless LAN".
  4. In the screen that comes up choose "Send Print Jobs" - see image
Note: The ActivePrint System Address can be found on the desktop by following these steps:
  1. On the desktop, right click the ActivePrint icon in your system tray (next to the clock on most systems)
  2. Choose "Available ActivePrint Wireless Addresses".
  3. This will list all of the valid ActivePrint System Addresses for your desktop/laptop.
